208 / 308 GTB / GTS

The 308 GTB made its debut at the Paris and London shows in 1975. Built to a Pininfarina design of Leonardo Fioravanti by Scarlatti, it retained the 308 GT4′s V8, albeit with dry sump lubrication; later switched over to wet sump. The first models had fiberglass coachwork replaced by steel bodywork later. Quattrovalvole models followed in 1982.
